Nihil Deo obstat
Nothing stands in the way of God, I've have decided to stop being nothing and bring God back into my life. Went to Confession for the first time in 6 years and started hearing Mass on Sundays.Surpassed 2 years at work
I used to complain a lot about working 12 hours a day, dread the holidays (I still do just not so much anymore), but I'm starting to see the value in it as compared to private practice and weekly fieldwork. Every job has an inconvenience, but not every inconvenience has to be treated with the tendering of resignationGot married
Carpe Diem or "Seize the Day". I couldn't wait to marry the love of my life. I'm thankful that she was supportive. My mantra now is: I'm ready to face death tomorrow knowing I am married to her today.

Online gaming is slowly fading at a distance.
I'm no longer as quick as I was five years ago. I no longer watch competitive FPS games (i.e. CS:GO, Valorant) It's too repetitive (and predictable) with no real value. I started to appreciate the Solo games I used to play when I was younger. I.e. Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Bioshock, GTA San Andreas, etc.. I enjoyed playing those games as well because I can be disturbed anytime, even when I'm on a game's mission. It's easy to come back to later on. I hope one day I'd be able to play games with more stories in it. I.e. Black Myth Wukong, Detroit.F*ck Doomscroll
I spend 4-5 hours on my phone consuming short form videos that I get no benefit from. What's the use of all these quotes when it takes me away from all the action? All I do is just curate information I'm never going to use in the next decade. So I uninstalled all my social media apps on my phone. They're now only accessible through my tablet or laptop. On my phone, I also installed NoScroll—it blocks my YouTube shorts and closes my browser whenever I click a link that leads to Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram.Customization can be a trap
I spent a lot of my time revamping the blog, without writing anything new. My draft was getting bigger that I required my attention to settle the CSS of my blog and just get on with writing. The more I write, the higher the chance to get things published. I write everyday, yes. Mostly for my journal. But writing for public, that requires some degree of prep. Stop customizing the small details. Commit to a format, strike a deal with someone, and then keep writing.
